Please consider sponsoring a Baby Basics child by making a donation.  100% of your donation will be used to buy diapers for a baby in East Palo Alto or Menlo Park. 

If you would like to make a donation, below are some levels of support to consider:

• $50 buys 1 month of diapers

• $100 buys 2 months of diapers

• $300 buys 6 months of diapers

• $600 buys 1 year of diapers

• $1,200 buys 1 year of diapers for 2 babies

Volunteer

Baby Basics is an entirely volunteer organization.  Our working Board coordinates all fundraising, public relations, client enrollment and diaper distribution needs.  The continuing success of the Baby Basics program points to the variety of talents our volunteers bring as well as their commitment and dedication to our mission of providing diapers to families in need.

We particularly need help with grant writing, fundraising and negotiating bulk purchases of diapers from local suppliers.  We also welcome help distributing diapers. 

Diaper distributions are held on the 1st and 3rd Thursdays of each month, from 6:30-7pm, at the Arbor Free Clinic on the Menlo Park VA Hospital campus at 795 Willow Rd.  The diaper distributions are purposefully scheduled after work hours so that working parents can more easily attend. 

Our clients often bring their children as do Baby Basics' volunteers.  We have found that Baby Basics offers a fun and easy way to connect with local families on an ongoing basis.  It is also a wonderful opportunity for families to volunteer together - everyone can relate to a baby's need for diapers!
